It is with great pleasure that we announce the addition of a new Partner to the Omni Management Consulting Alliance. James Albers joins us from Calgary with over 30 years of leadership experience as a leadership consultant and mentor to large and small businesses and as a principal and leader in secondary and post secondary education. His responsibilities have involved program development, training and supervision of staff, project management, change management, board development and development of corporate or industry benchmarks and metrics for company audits and performance improvement. Additionally, James has been involved with guiding several organizations through the processes of institutional change.

We are particularly excited to introduce our clients to James’ three-day courses in Operational Excellence, Performance Leadership and Change Leadership. James also offers training in a diversity of other areas, dependent on our clients needs, and we’ve already got him working on Workplace Harassment and Healthy Workplace Practices training for current Omni MCA clients.

We would also like to formally announce that Kimberley Gladden has joined our team as an Associate, working on human resources projects with Dena. Kim has successfully worked with several Omni MCA clients and has quickly become a valued member of our team, particularly relating to recruitment and policy development. At this time, we’d also like to share some other changes within our group. Dick and Lucia were fortunate enough to spend much of our long winter in Arizona and have moved from being Partners to Omni MCA Associates. Each remains involved in select consulting projects and continue to provide guidance and support to our team and clients but are no longer involved in the alliance on a day-to-day basis. Things won’t be the same without Dick’s thoughtfulness and insight, and Lucia’s warmth and caring. We wish them both the very best as they enjoy more time with family and friends. (Although we’re not sure babysitting for grandchildren counts as leisure time, nor is it more relaxing than writing client reports!)

And finally, Rodger has accepted a full-time contract with a valued client, taking the leap back into “regular” work. This unique position will allow him to make a direct impact daily, putting to good work the wisdom and expertise he has garnered in his 20 years of consulting.

The uniqueness of our business model has meant that we’re more than a business partnership; we’ve become friends, bound by a deep respect for each other and a shared commitment to our work. It’s always an adjustment when our friends take different paths, but we are all excited by these next chapters in our lives and in our business.
